If you're not in severe pain now you probably want more information. I've been a chiropractor for more than 20
years and have helped thousands of people through my combination of chiropractic adjusting, soft tissue work
(massage), neuromuscular reeducation and corrective stretching and exercise (rehabilitation).
Most of my patients really enjoy their treatment, because it feels good and helps them get better.
My years of experience plus continuing education allow me to personalize patient treatment to be suitable
for people with very different problems, body types, age, comfort with getting adjusted, history of injury and
activity level from couch potato through weeeknd warrior to athlete.
Almost everyone I see has some kind of a neuromusculoskeletal problem, a long name for one of the most common
things afflicting people everyday. Neuromusculoskeletal simply means related to the nerves, muscles and/or skeleton,
so it does cover a pretty wide area.
The most typical problems of this type are, from head to toe:
- Headache
- Neck pain and stiffness
- Pain across the shoulders and upper back
- Pain, tingling, numbness, weakness or a heavy feeling down the arms
- Mid and lower back pain
- Buttocks, hip, thigh, knee, leg or feet problems.
If you've checked online or have already unsuccessfully seen another chiropractor, medical doctor or
physical therapist you know some of the official names:
- Tension headache or migraine
- Whiplash
- Cervical disk bulge or herniation
- Radiation down the arm or between the shoulder blades
- Cervical stenosis
- Arthritis
- Rotator cuff
- Tennis or golfers elbow
- Tendinitis
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Lumbar protruding disc
- Sciatica
- Plantar fascitis
- Fibromyalgia
- Muscle strain
- Ligament sprain
Most of these problems, most of the time, are mostly resolvable, and many can be completely resolved.
No matter how much they hurt at first or at their worst.
